Founder and President
Kaitlyn Lemus
Kaitlyn founded Gladeswise to share her love for conservation, sustainability, and agriculture. Inspired by her family as a sixth-generation farmer and by her native state, Florida, she wants to help educate other students on how they can serve the environment and their local communities.

Vice President
Eva Almeida
As Deputy Director of GladesWise, Eva helps lead initiatives that advance the organization’s commitment to environmental stewardship and agricultural awareness. Her love for farm life and appreciation for Florida’s ecosystems drive her dedication to helping safeguard their environment.

Communications Director
Gaby Barreto
Gaby’s love for journalism and the environment manifested through her role in Gladeswise as Director of Social Media and Communications, where she advocates for conservation and environmental education. By using storytelling and digital media, she helps raise awareness about the importance of protecting the Everglades and strengthening the connection between communities and the natural world.
